Founded in 2003 by Nakasinde Ruth, Streetheroes Uganda was born from a personal experience of kindness.
When Ruth was still in school, a sponsor from World Vision paid part of her school fees. That act of generosity transformed her life and inspired her lifelong commitment to helping vulnerable children who face similar challenges.
Today, Streetheroes Uganda is providing hope, education, vocational skills, and economic opportunities for disadvantaged communities across Uganda.
A transformed society where vulnerable children, youths, widows, and elderly people live dignified, productive, and self-reliant lives.
To empower vulnerable children, youths, widows, and elderly people through education, entrepreneurship, vocational skills, spiritual development, and sustainable livelihood initiatives that improve lives and strengthen communities.
